First things first: We do not collect any data from you!

Our Lexico apps for language development are designed to work entirely on your device. This means:

• All your data stays on your device

• We do not collect personal information

• We store nothing on our servers

• We do not share any data – because we simply don’t have any

 

How does it work?

When you use our apps, all logs, progress, and settings are stored exclusively on your tablet or computer. We have no access to them and cannot view them.

What does this mean for you?

• Privacy: Your privacy is 100% protected because we do not receive any data from you.

• Security: There is no server database that could be hacked – because none exists.

• Control: You have full control over your data. If you delete the app, all data is gone.

 

Do the apps require the internet?

No! Our Lexico apps work completely offline. You do not need an internet connection to use them.

What happens if I delete the app?

If you remove a Lexico app from your device, all associated data is automatically deleted. No traces remain on our servers (because nothing was ever stored there).

Children and data protection

Since we do not collect any data, there are no specific data protection concerns regarding children. Your children can safely use the apps without any personal information being collected.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If we make any changes to our approach to data protection in the future, we will inform you via the app stores and our website.

2. Terms of Use for Lexico Apps

What you are allowed to do with our apps

• Use on your own devices: You may use all Lexico apps on your own devices that are linked to your Apple or Google account for which you have purchased a license.

• Additional licenses: You may also use Lexico apps on additional devices for which you have purchased a separate license (e.g. through the Apple Volume Purchase Program).

 

What you are not allowed to do

• No modifications: Do not edit, modify, or reprogram the apps.

• No reverse engineering: Do not reverse-engineer or analyze the apps to reconstruct the source code.

• No resale: Do not sell the apps or their content.

• No copying: Do not copy content or incorporate it into other apps.

 

Technical Notes

• Compatibility: Our apps work on the devices and OS versions listed in the App Store or Google Play Store. If you experience technical issues, feel free to contact us.

 

Ownership and Copyright

• The Lexico apps and all content are the property of Pappy GmbH. You are granted the right to use the app, but not ownership of it.

• Your data belongs to you: All data generated during use stays on your device and belongs to you.

 

Updates and Improvements

• We continuously improve our apps. Updates are free and provided via the app stores.

 

If something doesn’t work

Email us at mail@pappy.ch if you discover bugs or problems. We strive to develop error-free apps but cannot guarantee 100% perfection.

Liability

• You are responsible for the proper use of the apps and the interpretation of the results.

Subscriptions and direct purchase

• Some Lexico apps can also be purchased directly via lexico.ch, with payment processed
  by Stripe. Subscriptions purchased directly renew automatically until cancelled.

Termination

• You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

• For paid subscriptions, you can cancel at any time: via the Stripe Customer Portal or by emailing support@pappy.ch for direct purchases; via the subscription settings on your device for Apple App Store or Google Play purchases. You retain full access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds

• Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. For direct purchases via lexico.ch, please contact us at support@pappy.ch

 

Changes

• We may occasionally revise these terms of use. Significant changes will be communicated via the app stores and our website.
